Branding and white-label
CVN PSA has no vendor name of its own on screen. Every name your staff and clients see comes from your settings. A new install calls itself "Service Portal" until you change it.
The two names
| Setting | What it is | Where it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Company name | The business your clients deal with | Invoices, quotes, receipts, emails, the status page, "shared by" lines |
| Portal name | What the app is called | Page titles, the sign-in pages, authenticator app entries, calendar feeds, the installable web app |
Either can be blank. A blank portal name falls back to the company name, and a blank company name falls back to the portal name.
Set your brand
- Open Configuration › General › Company.
- Enter your legal name, trading name and address. These print on documents.
- Upload your logo.
- In the Portal branding panel, set the portal name, a short logo mark (up to four characters) and a tagline. Without a mark, the app uses your company's initials.
- Choose an accent colour. A hex value works, and so do named colours such as "teal".
- Save, then sign out and look at the sign-in page and the client portal as a client would.
Emails
Every email uses one branded layout. Under Configuration › General › Mail you set:
- the sign-off line and footer note,
- whether the footer is a dark band or a plain light one,
- the company email signature that technicians send unless they write their own.
The wording of each email is edited separately. See Email setup.
What carries your brand
- The admin, employee and client portals.
- Every outbound email.
- Printed and emailed invoices, quotes, receipts and purchase orders.
- The public status page.
- Authenticator app entries for two-factor sign-in.
- Calendar feed names.
- The web app manifest, so "Add to home screen" shows your portal name.
