Public status page

Your install has a public status page at https://your-domain/status. It needs no sign-in, carries your company name and tells clients whether your services are working. Link to it from your website, your email signature or the client portal.

Components

The page lists the services you choose to show. A new install lists Helpdesk, Client Portal, Email, Monitoring and Remote Support. Change the list in the status settings: enter the names separated by commas.

Post an incident

  1. Open the status page incidents screen in the admin portal.
  2. Create an incident with a title, the affected component, the impact (minor, major or critical) and an update for clients.
  3. Save. The component and the banner at the top of the page change to match the worst open impact.
  4. Edit the incident as things change, so clients can follow along.
  5. Set it to resolved when the problem is fixed. The component returns to normal.

Resolved incidents from the last 30 days stay on the page as recent history.

What the page shows

Only what a client should see: components, open incidents and recent history. Nothing internal is published. The page reads a public feed at /api/public/status, which you can also poll from another site.
